Rob Savage, director de THE BOOGEYMAN – TU MIEDO ES REAL, la nueva adaptaci\u00f3n de Stephen King, fue recientemente entrevistado por el podcast The Kingcast en donde cont\u00f3 cu\u00e1l es la pr\u00f3xima historia de Stephen King que quiere llevar a la pantalla:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00abRecientemente me preguntaron qu\u00e9 obra de Stephen King me gustar\u00eda hacer y dije THE LANGOLIERS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
No puedo decir mucho. Los derechos est\u00e1n comprometidos. Es una de las historias que le dije a King que realmente me gustar\u00eda adaptar. Luego que \u00e9l la vio (THE BOOGEYMAN) me mand\u00f3 un e-mail diciendo ‘\u00a1Deber\u00edamos trabajar nuevamente juntos en algo!’, inmediatamente le respond\u00ed ‘Realmente me gustar\u00eda adaptar THE LANGOLIERS’, y \u00e9l se mostr\u00f3 entusiasmado. Pero creo que los derechos est\u00e1n comprometidos as\u00ed que estamos trabajando para liberarlos. No puedo decir mucho y todav\u00eda no es una realidad, pero siempre me encant\u00f3 esa historia. Es genial, muy siniestra, brillante y simple en su concepci\u00f3n de ‘algo que pasa en un avi\u00f3n’ y ‘\u00bfC\u00f3mo no pens\u00e9 en eso?’. Es muy tenebrosa. Creo que hay una (potencial) adaptaci\u00f3n terror\u00edfica para hacer de esa historia. Si bien disfrut\u00e9 la miniserie, no era la adaptaci\u00f3n que imagin\u00e9.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Luego le preguntaron c\u00f3mo ser\u00eda su adaptaci\u00f3n y qu\u00e9 tan diferente de la adaptaci\u00f3n de Holland, y dijo:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00abEs…ser\u00eda un spoiler. Lo adaptar\u00eda hacia una direcci\u00f3n bastante diferente y en un \u00e1ngulo que tuviese m\u00e1s que ver con las criaturas, pero tambi\u00e9n con su mitolog\u00eda… Tengo una idea que me entusiasma mucho.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n
