Nacido el 2 de marzo de 1943 en Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Peter Straub public\u00f3 su primer libro, <em>Ishmael<\/em>, en 1972. Por sugerencia de su agente, incursion\u00f3 en el terror con <em>Julia <\/em>(1975), <em>If you Could See Me Now<\/em> (1977), para luego llegar a su primer gran \u00e9xito, <em>Ghost Story<\/em>, libro publicado en 1979.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"656\" height=\"299\" src=\"https:\/\/restaurantdelamente.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/stephen-king-peter-straub2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4208\" srcset=\"https:\/\/restaurantdelamente.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/stephen-king-peter-straub2.jpg 656w, https:\/\/restaurantdelamente.com\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/stephen-king-peter-straub2-300x137.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 656px) 100vw, 656px\" \/><figcaption>Stephen King y Peter Straub<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Conoci\u00f3 a Stephen King en Inglaterra y se volvieron amigos, colaborando ambos en las novelas <em>El Talism\u00e1n<\/em> (1984) y <em>Casa Negra<\/em> (2001).
