Curiosamente, a pesar de estar presente en tantos lados, no hay muchos lugares ni cosas que tengan el nombre de Stephen King. Sin embargo, una que bien pod\u00eda ser imperdonable acaba de ser saldada. El hotel Stanley (u Overlook Hotel, como lo conocemos nosotros), el cual inspir\u00f3 al propio autor durante una estad\u00eda a escribir EL RESPLANDOR<\/a><\/em>, su primera novela en convertirse en best-seller, acaba de agregar una placa a la suite presidencial con el nombre \u00abSTEPHEN KING SUITE\u00bb. Por supuesto, es la habitaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s famosa de todos los hoteles: la 217<\/p>\n\n\n

A lo largo de los a\u00f1os, el hotel Stanley, ubicado en Estes Park, Colorado, ha sido visitado y ha alojado a miles de Lectores Constantes que quisieron pasar un tiempo en ese lugar tan ic\u00f3nico, no solo en la obra de Stephen King, sino en la cultura popular en general. El lugar ha logrado sacar provecho de esto organizando tours por sus instalaciones, con fotograf\u00edas, miniaturas y curiosidades en exhibici\u00f3n, vendiendo merchandising relacionado a la novela, pel\u00edcula y miniserie, y hasta creando un laberinto de arbustos en uno de sus terrenos del frente.<\/p>\n\n\n
